History

The Sagittario is located in the Monferrato hills, in Ponzano Monferrato, near the historic town of Moncalvo, south of the beautiful Natural Park of Sacred Mount of Crea, recognized by UNESCO as a world Patrimony of Humanity.

The estate Al Sagittario is a property of the late '700, initially constituted by a residence with outbuildings and a chapel dedicated to St. Bernard and consecrated in the autumn of 1783.

In 1997 it was restructured and adapted to the current housing needs, getting a space of residence, meditation and meeting.

From the restructuring of the outbuildings and the large and ancient wine cellar accessible from the garden, we have been created a space to host initiatives dedicated to Slow Life, and also two very charming accommodations for tourist stays.

There are several ways that we intend to follow to reach this result, one in particular is to organize cultural events, art exhibitions, musical events and other initiatives yet that can interest and attract a refined and selected public, able to appreciate the event, but also to get involved in the beauty and attractiveness of the environment in which it takes place.

In recent years, a fruitful collaboration with local institutions, the Pro Loco and the Municipality, has allowed the realization of numerous cultural events linked to this area.
