Ettore Cascioli, in art Casc, Lombard by birth and Monferrino by adoption, a university professor of quantitative methods in the decision-making processes, has always been passionate about photography.

Since the time of black and white and dark chamber activity, since 2001 he has extended his expressive activity by "inventing" photopainting.

Mainly they are photographs that the author already takes in view of what he will want to achieve when the work is done, he elaborates them in Photoshop and prints them on FineArt papers.
Since then he has made more than 3600 photopaintings in various themes.
Since 2006, he has mainly organized them in thematic collections
